check engine light on....P0130 circuit question...

i went to autozone today because my check engine light came on and wouldnt go off and i wanted to know what was making it come on, so they checked and told me it was P0130 circuit and they deleted the entry and he told me it would go away now, so i turned on the car and it worked fine the check engine light went off, i went to the gas station and then drove home. i turned the car back on 15 minutes later and the check engine light is back on. i was wondering what the P0130 circuit was really and if it is really important because the guy at autozone just blew it off like it was nothing.

thanks in advance..

Re: check engine light on....P0130 circuit question...

Well the code that was pulled refers to this

O2S Circuit Closed Loop (CL) Performance Sensor 1

I have not yet had to do this one myself so am not sure were to start. I think it must have something to do with the O2 sensor on the exhaust manifold I would start by checking the simple thing like wiring, then test the O2 sensor it self, not sure how to do that but may be someone else could help you with that.

Not sure what else to tell you, hope this helped a little
