Question Old Suburban Trailer Wiring

I'm hoping to wire up my '82 Burban for a trailer brake controler. I've done this on newer trucks, and with those ingenius plug 'n play harnesses under the dash, it's cake. I figure i'll need to run trailer wire from the front to the back, but i'm pretty lost when it comes to what to hook up to under the dash. any websites with instructions or diagrams? i'm pretty good figuring stuff out once i have an idea of what's supposed to happen... I'm in Tucson AZ right now, and need to wire up for trailer brakes before I drag a trailer back to Seattle on Tuesday. Thanks in advance for any help at all...
