I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado Z71 5.3L Ext. cab with around 30,000 miles on it. Is there any adjustments that need to be done on the transmission after a certain mileage? (Like band adjustments, etc...) Hope someone knows. I live quite a ways away from the nearest dealer, and I am comfortable doing maintenance on my vehicles on my own. Thanks.

Although, you may want to start thinking about tranny fluid replacement. Someone in here said "early and often"
I had the full 30K tranny service done. I think it was something like $160 or so at the dealer. I don't really remember exactly as I had some other things taken care of as well (exhast, etc). |

hey
they say tranny flush at 50,000km and continue doing it but the best advice for the very fussy 4l60e transmision is take it to a good tranny shop and take there advise, not mine or anyone else's on here. unless someone is a tranny mechanic? but no offence to anyone.
