Panoz Esperante GTS
Does anybody here have one of these? I saw one in person the other day and fell head-over-heels in love with it, visually. Is it a competitive car (outside of its spec series, obviously)? And also, the thought of owning a relatively inexpensive Panoz really appeals to me.

Re: Panoz Esperante GTS
Its a great car, a kid used to race one here and he was real competitive, just wish i could remember what class he ran. Anyway he was getting podium almost every race.

Re: Panoz Esperante GTS
There is a Pro series for them, they are obviously competitive in that
They are also legal for SCCA GT2. They're not the fastest cars out there, but it's about as good of a value as you're going to get in GT2, given that there are several $100k+ cars there.

Re: Panoz Esperante GTS
That's what I'm thinking. $40K for a car that can compete in GT2, and with a little modification can be competitive in GT2 (it's a Ford motor, after all, so parts are cheap).
