CD's Stuck in CD CHanger

Wondering if anyone has had this problem. I had some CDs that ended up jamming my Radio. I can still here the motor going so I haven't burnt it out yet. I took the radio out and was able to remove 2 of the suspect CDs.

Is their a way to reset the radio. I unplugged it and left it unplugged but the radio still thinks there are 6 CDs in their when there are only 4 left. PLEASE HELP. Trying to resolve this without paying dealership price to fix.
