the LS/vtec convertion is well liked. I would say it is worth the convertion, should add some good hp.

How much hp should it produce. i have done some research and all know for sure that needs to be replaced for that is the head solenoid and the ecu needs to be reprogrammed. is there anything else that i need to do for the conversion????

yes, you need to enlarge the oil ports on the block, if youre not sure about doing this, bring it to a shop because the LS/VTEC isnt very stable unless built perfect.

Re: B18B1 DOHC nonvtec to vtec?

Man, do a google search on lsvtec. If it was reliable to just throw on the head and use the ECU, everyone would do it. A good general rule to modifying a car is to do research before you even consider doing anything; whether it be suspension, tires, bolt-ons, engine swaps, etc. So spend a few weeks or month searching on the topic and get as much info that's out there.
