Re: STOCK intercooler piping...

You could make a hard pipe for like 12 bux and cut your accordian intake some and put the hardpipe in and use a napa hose to put attach it to the turbo.... This is what I did, its damn cheap and easy to do. Make sure you don't cut too much off the accordian, remember you can always take more off but cant put it back on so do some trial and error fits.
Sound way cooler too

Re: STOCK intercooler piping...

dude get an ebay intake, and just use the hard pipe, it will come with the rubber gaskits to seal it.

Re: STOCK intercooler piping...

What are you trying to do? Do you have an aftermarket intake, and the coupler is bad? Or you are replacing your stock intake with stock flex IC piping?

Re: Re: STOCK intercooler piping...

Well...both...my coupling is shit...it's like bending and pinching airflow...but I AM also trying to get new piping..but that's not what the thread was for...

The coupler..that's it..it's poop..cause yes I do have an aftermarket intake

Re: STOCK intercooler piping...

Use a rubber coupler from home depot. You don't really want to use a flex hose, but I suppose it could be done.
