Tailgate Window

You guys have been somuch help thanks, how about this one 1987 Sub, Tailgate window will not lower by the use of the key in the lock, it will lower from the cab. What do you think?

sounds like the key/switch inside the tailgate itself. my window roller broke, so i took the gate appart and it's pretty simple inside there. screws hold in the carpet, and more screws hold on a metal panel covering up the glass/motor/window glides. it's pretty easy to get the glass itself out just by looking at the bolts etc that hold it in, then you'd have access to the key switch. i haven't had any trouble with that switch etc myself, so i don't know any more than that. there's a ton of grease all over the gears/motor in there, so some latex gloves might be a good idea.
