electrical issues???

when I shut off my car and get out the radio doesnt shut off, the clock doesnt shut off and all the windows still work. Whats wrong with it. I have a guy who can fix anything, but he always makes me take it to GM first to find out whats wrong I cant afford GM!

Before you do anything, I would check your fuses and relays underneath the back seat. If one or a few are blown, that could be affecting other things. Look at your fuse chart in the owners manual and see if any of the fuses or relays say anything about the radio or lights (in relation to turning off when the door opens).

Do the interor lights come on when you open the door? There is a switch in the door that signals when the door is open or closed and it could have gone bad. Im not sure if the same switch works both the dome lights and killing power to the radio, power windows ect but its a good place to start.
