Bought, 96 Civic with B16a2, Air coming from oil filler
Hi all
. I just bought my first 96 civic. Has B16a2 engine, integra GSR tranny, MDS ignition. etc....Anyway, i went to put some oil in it the other day and noticed quite a bit of air coming from the oil filler hole on the valve cover. Is this normal? What causes this? How do i fix ? thanks, for the help. mostym |

air is coming from the cap when engine is started? cap it then start it.

Re: Bought, 96 Civic with B16a2, Air coming from oil filler
are you filling it with the engine on? don't, turn the car off
and air is coming out because there is possitive pressure in the head(pcv system), its supposed to happen when the car is on
