Starting FAQ Thread for Corolla

I am thinking of starting a FAQ Thread for Corolla Maintenance issues. Please post suggestions for topics along with references to threads or external links that discuss the issue in detail.

Thanks,
Brian

Sounds like a good idea. Subdivide the faq's into catagories? Electrical, Engine, Steering and suspention, Brakes, Fluids, Customizing. ect..

Sometimes it takes alot of searching to find an aplicable post. And a FAQ section may cut down on thread topic duplication.

Good luck dude, it's a lot of work. I help maintain/moderate the FAQ and HOW-TO forum for my other car on www.3geez.com. You may get some ideas from there.

Re: Starting FAQ Thread for Corolla

As soon as I can find a source of general information about Corollas. I want the one of the first posts to be about general information and historical data that encompases all the Corollas. Check out the FAQ in the Camry forum to see what I mean. I can't insert a post at the beginning of a thread.

forums

you could have it like this like i have seen on some car forums. an example:
EEC & Electronics
Suspension and Drivetrain
Power Adders
Wheels and Tires
Appearance and Sound
maybe even between the CE, LE and S (or VE, STD, DX for older models)
or in generations of Corolla which is 2003-2006, 1998-2002, 1993-1997, or 1992.

Re: Starting FAQ Thread for Corolla

I still need a source of information on general Corolla topics. That is the starting point I am trying to get to. Eventually, I will give up and just start listing stuff, but the best way is to open with a laundry list of general Corolla information.
