Angry 89 22re oil in coolant resevoir

Hi everyone. I have a 89 toyota 4x4 with the 22re, just recently went to check my coolant and top off the resevoir and when I pulled the cap off it was almost near full of oil. After checking around some have said that its a head gasket a know problem with these. Does this sound correct? Also any links or info on head removal and install with torque specs and diagrams? Any and all help would be great as its my only vehicle. Thanks

If you don't want to by a manual, try your local public library. If your local library doesn't have the manual in print form they may have a manual in an electronic database. If you have a library card, then you may be able to access the database from home. If you are a student, your school may subscribe to an automotive database which can be accessed from home.

Thanks for the info. I was able to get all off all data at work. But has anyone ever had this issue?

I had read about issues with the timing chain cover in earlier posts that maybe related to your problem.
Sorry, I don't know the dates or titles of the posts.
