Unexpected Expenses...

Alright, so the place i had plopped my car while i was getting it ready to sell got broken into last night, and the bitches who broke in thought it would be fun to smash my rear driver and passenger windows. Nothing taken from the car, not that there was anything to take out of it since i cleared it out. My question is, does anybody know how much the rear windows are on the 96-99 spyders? On the spyders, the rear windows aren't static, they go down as well. If anybody knows, it would be great to know what to expect for the dealer.

Re: Unexpected Expenses...

Man, that totally sucks. That happened to me, I had the car sold and was going to deliever in the morning, that night some bastards came up and jumped on my hood, roof and smashed my windshield...

Dont go to the dealer, just hit up a glass shop in town, they are usually pretty good prices, especially compared to a dealer.

Re: Unexpected Expenses...

definitely a better idea than i had in mind. Thank you much. Hopefully they'll install it and everything, cause i don't really have the time right now to pull off those panels, and the speakers and what not right now, with finals around the corner and everything. Otherwise i gotta hold off on sending the car, making it just another delay. I'll definitely check out a local glass shop though, thanks again for the idea.

Re: Unexpected Expenses...

make this your last resort but a junkyard works to and then take it to a glass shop and have them install it for you. might be a little cheaper.

Re: Unexpected Expenses...

i actually tried junkyards yesterday, and nobody has any rear spyder windows. The closest i found were the front driver and passenger windows off a 98 rs or gs at Broken Wheel, but i don't need those.
