front reinforcement bar

i got into a little fender bender...i am going to replace my bumper but the front(black) reinforcement bar behind the bumper is bent upward. Can I bang it back down or do I need to replace that too?

Re: front reinforcement bar

you'll want to replace it. In a small collision it's going to help save your radiator, radiator support etc. Pretty much everything up front.

I have tried to bang the bumper support out before and yah that was a waste of a couple hours.
