Unhappy 94 JGCL Alarm system problems..PLEASE HELP

I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd
the alarms system keeps acting up, shutting the jeep down
now it just would not start(turning over but will not start)
The alarm remotes also dont work
.
Is there anyway to disconnect the alarm?
or will replacing it solve the problem?
.
Your advice will be greatly appreciated

Re: 94 JGCL Alarm system problems..PLEASE HELP

my used 94 gc limited had alarm probs as well , but i cured mine by disconecting the hood alarm switch, under the hood near the battery, also, sometimes you can reset the alarm from preventing engine start by disconecting the battery for a few min, locking/unlocking the doors with the key. including the tail gate, and resetting with the key fob, had similar problems with "Glitches". removed most of the fuses one at a time , cleaned the contacts , replaced with the same fuse , seemed to work for me , hope that helps
