HI everyone, its me again. This time I'm just trying to figure out what set up should I run.
I already have a 95 LS engine in my 94 civic hatch, I also have a 8lbs flywheel and stage 1 clutch kit. I'm thinking about the all motor set up, running high compression pistons, changing the retainers and valves, cams and working the buttom end in a decent way (by decent I ment relaible). Turbo is nice and expensive (just like the NA set up) but I think turbo requiere more care than High compression. Turbo is also more noticiable, everybody knows when you have turbo (Idont like that Idea to much). so, what do you think will be better to go wiht (I dont wanna be in the 9's but I want something that I can be confident with). Here, Money is the Problem......

Re: N/A or Turbo ?
depends on how fast you want to go. all motor ls isnt that good, lsvtec on the other hand is good. the ls motor shouldnt be revved high so your limited to the stock rev limiter or alittle over.

Re: N/A or Turbo ?
I know the LS is not that good, but it is one of the motors that can take a lot of miles (very resistent). I want to reach at least the 200 or 250 HP all motor, and I dont think is that hard.
Remember, I just want something that I could say "I spent some money on it and it was whell worth"..... so please give an opinion and/or a tip on how to reach my goal.

Re: N/A or Turbo ?
I had a built B20/VTEC with cams, pistons, rods, ported head, the whole 9 yards. It made just under 230 WHP naturally aspirated and was pretty quick. I really liked it. Till my friend with a stock LS motor and a T3/TO4E 50-trim beat the living shit out of my car on the street for about 1/2 what I had invested. I have gone turbo and never looked back. My new motor is an exospeed 84mm LS/VTEC in a GSR block with an SC61, hoping for 400+ WHP and still daily driveable!

Forged pistons, rods and all that is too expensive. there is not reliable way to have a fast and intimidating car? if you know any let me know.

Re: N/A or Turbo ?
It's all up to you. N/A are good but not all the time, Turbo will have more HP but there is problems with both and stuff. So do what you want with your car. If I was you Get the turbo...
