Exclamation clueless

i have a 2001 grand prix se and the battery went bad so i bought a new one and i went to start the car with the new battery and everyhting was working lights and everything untill i tried so start the car and it all went dead and now the key is stck in the ignition and it wont let it go. i have no idea please help

Check your battery connections. If the only thing you did was change the battery then the problem has to be there. Hopefully, you connected the battery correctly. If you accidentally connected it backwards you will have a lot of electrical problems.

If you connected it backwards, return the battery and save hte money for a down payment on your new GP.
