2001 T&C Power Sliding Door

I have a 2001 Town & Country EX with a passenger side power sliding door which works well. I was wondering if I could convert my manual driver side door into a power sliding door as well through the installation of a power sliding door motor in the passenger side door. Although there's no button inside the car to trigger a second power sliding door, there is such a button on the key fob and when I push that button it causes the driver side signal to flash despite the fact that the door doesn't open. Thanks for your help.

Re: 2001 T&C Power Sliding Door

You have to install the track to the top and bottom, but it is possible. Talk to your Chrysler dealer to check availability/prices. One major problem is finding the motor and track (unless the power door motor from the 05 will work) You might need to take a trip to the salvage yard otherwise. Most extra options can be put on after it leaves the showroom floor. Like I said, check with your dealer.
