92 LeSabre K&N kit???

I looked for an intake for this yr car but there isnt one in the catalog that I looked in, yet there was one for a '93. Now I know good and well that there werent too many changes from 92 to 93 on this car. My question is will I be able to put the 93 kit on my car(92)?

Also Im lookin into gettin an exaust. Single is cheaper but I might go with duals. Being that its the almighty 3.8, what kind of exaust should i go with if im looking for the most power increase?..FLOWMASTER?..BORLA?...MAGNAFLOW?

If it has the same engine bay layout as a Bonneville I sell a K&N intake kit on my website: www.SeriesOnePerformance.com

Magnaflow seems to be the "weapon of choice" when it comes to exhaust on the 3800. Flowmaster is anything but a 'flow master' when comparing actual flow.

If possible you should fab up a thermal barrier for the intake. I've personally tested different intake setups and the IAT temps at idle (staging for a run) are extremely high if you don't have something to block the heat.

I checked out your site and its nice. I know that the Le Sabre, Bonneville, Olds 98 & 88 were essentially the same cars but iI dont know if the engine bays are exactly the same..but is so then it should work. Thats my guess anyway. What do you think about Borla exhaust?...and where does that heatshield go? One other thing, Has any one ever tried to make a Ram Air type system or know of anyone thats tried? I seen it on a site a while back and I cant remember the name.

I feel you on that. I dont really hear too many 3.8s with exhaust in my area, now 3.1s are a different story, and those sound beautiful....I even had a chance to own one

You are probably better off building one yourself, just get a universal K&N cone filter and go to Home Depot or Lowes for the duct work.
