key wont turn in door lock

this is just confusing to me, i went up to walmart for like 20min. an when i came back the key wouldnt turn in the drivers side door... i dont see why it wouldnt. anyone ever experience this or know how to fix it?

try pushing the key in all the way. then pulling it back out like a fraction of a centimeter and then turning the key. (pretty much dont push the key in all the way) that happened to me and it was a pain in the ass now im just used to the exact spot i need to put it for it to work, hope that helps

My prelude used to do that when I had it. What I had to do was bang on a certain part of the door, and turn the key, and it would unlock. It was such a pain in the ass!

If it's frozen from moisture or dirt spray WD40 in the keyhole.
