Impressed with my emission results.
I was just driving along in Sudbury, Ontario when I stumbled along a free emmissions testing setup that was in a parking lot close to where I live. It was run by the government of Canada.
There is no emmissions testing in Northern Ontario where I live, but I wanted to know just how clean my truck was performing. They threw the sniffer into the tailpipe and asked me to hold me rpms at 2500rpms for a minute to warm up the cat and then took an idle measurement. I did and these were the results: Hydrocarbons: Acceptable Limit: 165 My reading: 16 ![]() Carbon Monoxide: Acceptable Limit: 1.00% My Reading: 0.007% ![]() Needless to say, I am impressed and really happy. ![]() It was putting out less emmisions that a 2004 Honda Civic on their comparison charts. WOW!

Quote:
Good to see that all that work paid off and the truck is working at peak efficiency even with 137,000miles on the odometer.
