Body kits and mod's
I saw on a tv show that they changed a Tahoe's front end to look like a caddy escalade. Anyone know of what companies make it. I have been thinking about buying a Suburban, change the look to caddy escalade, but cut out the back cargo area, to make it like the chevy avalanche. I would follow the glass for a contour (front (left) side) of the rear cargo window. I am not sure of the look I want for the top of the bed walls. I want it to have some characterisitc of a avalanche, but have it stick out. I dont like how the avalanches bed walls are high, with the cheesey plasctic "roll bar" that comes down and ontop of bed walls. I saw a pic in a 4x4 mag but buddy did it with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It looked sweet. But I want the room of the burban, with the utility of a truck. I will want it to be offroad ready, so what lift kits do you recomend for a stock burban. And what about changing the front IFS to a solid axle with coil overs, and perhaps even puting in those long arms for maximum articulation. Is this a good idea for a rocking rig?
As for the look, I am not sure if I want more interior behind the rear seats, instead of following the front/left side have it come out more. Kinda like a crew cabs extended cab. I have seen a few of those, custom jobs in real life and in mags/tv. |

Re: Body kits and mod's
I think it would be much easier to buy an Avalanche and put an Escalade front on it.
