Re: exhaust on a v6

Here's how to make it sound better: replace the blowmaster with magnaflow or borla. I hear good things about dynomax too. get a whole catback as well.

cutting the resonator off will make it worse.

Re: exhaust on a v6

I have Dynomax exhaust on my 94 and I like the sound. The best part is that there isn't all that much cabin drone, that is the most annoying thing about exhaust work.

well could it just be the muffler and replace the muffler wit like dynomax or magnaflow or what cuz im still gonna keep it 2.5 cat back and since its already on there wouldn't i have to just replace the muffler

Is it madrel bent? stainless steel? if not then go for a 3" magnaflow LT1 catback (its cheaper than the 2.5, better sound and flow, yadda yada)

Re: exhaust on a v6

It would def. make things better but the non-stainless will rust thru, especially if you live in a wet climate (i.e. here in NJ thers a lot of rain and snow... and with that snow comes salt too).
