Got Another Good Kill!!!
the other day on my lunchbreak i was driving back up hwy 74 going back to work and i was kinda playing with this white 02 (est) mustang gt. well i followed him onto Interstate 77 and raced him for a minute then i got off and headed back towards my job. as i was merging back onto the hwy here goes this bright yellow and black mustang go flying by, so of course i chased him down. it was the same bodystyle (02-03?), yellow on the bottom and black on the top (hood, trunk, roof etc) it looked gay, chrome wheels blah blah blah. well i came up from behind pretty quick and then i slowly came around him and i was riding beside him and i saw him look at me like "what the hell does this LT1 want", oh yeah forgot to say, it was a SALEEN, or at least he had the full body kit, wheels, and the S281 badges on the side. well i kinda threw my hands up at him to entice him and i heard him drop it down a gear so i floored it. i was in 3rd gear when i stomped it and by the top of 3rd i had a car length in between us. then i quit because i just got a ticket a few weeks ago. i was so friggin excited that i rolled the window down and laughed and pointed at him....
 that was so much fun

u know what thats hella funny cuz i used to have a 90 5.0 modded pretty damn fast (not as fast as my new LT1) but i raced a 00-02 saleen with all the badges and body kit blah blah blah and beat him, and i know those things r hella fast so it makes me wonder... maybe they were fronting and it was a 6 with saleen badges or they just cant drive... what do those things run anyways?

who cares... mustangs suck..my neighbor who's like 17 or 18 has a late 90's mustang 5.0 is always wanting to race.. i tell him anytime even with my 6 banger, basicly because he's an idiot and doesn't know how to driveits not always the car.. its usually the driver...

arent those saleens s/c'ed? i wanted to trade my gt for one at one time, then i decided to sell it and buy my rs camaro. who would have thought i would like a v6 camaro better than a v8 mustang smh...

Good, good kill. I see these stangs all over the place in boston. Very few maros. Seeing a maro is like seeing and ferrari were i live. I wanna race one stang soo damn bad, but nobody bites. It was always like that when i went fishing too.

yes they r SC, on car-stats it says the 2000 S281 Saleen SC runs a 13.8 1/4 so thats pretty sad if u ask me when an LT1 stock runs 14.1 in the quarter w/out SC lol

oh thats just ball cheese! i would have been pissed if i would have got that saleen and some lt1 from the early 90's smoked me. for 40 g's i need to be at the top of the food chain, main reason why i left ford, hell im sure my gst eclipse would have ate that mustang alive

Think of Saleen as a way weaker Cobra, and you're basicly on the right path there. As he is an actual guy, if you didnt know, just like Carroll Shelby.

Yeah, but what do you expect? Ford makes a big deal out of little things, like their Mustang Cobra SVT R, its a long ass name and all, but I forgot which magazine did a run between the Corvette and that stang, and the Vette still won, except with the braking distance. Its pretty funny too because the Stang has no A/C and all they did was put lightweight stuff on it, everything manual and just threw on a big engine, while the Vette still has A/C and everything electronic. Vette>Stang
