The Vanishing Post

I've been searching for a post I read only a few days ago and for the life of me I can't find it again. It goes a little somethin' like this...It was about this guy who was hearing a loud pop when he backed out of his driveway and turned the wheel to the left. Blazer LT moved in for the kill with his pattened hood hinge bolt under the wiper cowl post we all know and love. The guy tried it. It didn't solve the problem...

then someone else posted something about this bar that goes across the bottom of the car in between the frame rails in the approx. area beneath the front seats. Its connected to the torsion bars and may require a spacer or it will hit the frame when the steering is hard over. There was a sweet picture and everthing. I checked for markings on my frame and that is the problem I've been having. I just wanted to check back to get the specifics on the resolution.

Thanks!
