HID kit and Projectors
I have heard about the problems with the light bulbs burning out about once a month with projectors. If one was to get an HID kit, would the bulbs still burn out? Also, will normal (non-hyperwhite) bulbs burn out just as easily as hyperwhites w/o the HID kit? Does HID have anything to do with bulbs burning out? Someone please enlighten my ignorant mind.

You will not be able to put an HID kit inside the civic projectors unless you modify the housing because the bulb will hit the lense ... HIDs run at a much lower temperature than regular halogen bulbs ... HID's aren't classified as normal or hyperwhite they are rated by their temperature amd they run at 35W ... HIDs also last up to 3000 hours or so ... while conventional bulbs run at 55w and last 320 - 1000 hours

So, does anyone have an HID kit with Angel Eyes headlights? Does it fit?
Or I can rephrase those questions with one: How can I have good looking headlights and bulbs w/o having to change burned out bulbs every month?

![]() The only way to fit the HID bulb into the civic projector housing is if you mod the housing itself ... Something I tried doing is fitting an Audi projector housing into the "Type R" style projector ... I have pics if you want to see but I don't have the time to finish it ....

So, does anybody know if the Philips will fit in the g2 projectors? Also off the topic...Do headlight eyeborws block the top part of the lights? I'm thinking of getting them because those tiny little pieces change yer car's looks greatly I think.
