anime/manga is cool but i cant draw it very well.

his muscles get oversized and the proportion is all wrong.

In general, you have to divide up a human body into 8 parts, a human face into 4 parts.

Hey chris.
I am no expert at drawing people but what I have found is that
staying interested in drawing and getting body proportions right is the
hardest part of drawing people. Art teachers will probably have a stroke, but
i think drawing from magazines is the best way to learn.
And to make it more fun draw only hot girls. Though I still suck at it, it is good fun
and I never get tired. Here is one I drew two weeks ago with a wacom.

What I have been told is that the secret is to draw alot. Like every day.
Once you feel like you are drawing people well from photos, switch over
to straight copying mangas. It is almost like you want to learn how
to draw figures the regular way - then start distorting
them like manga guys.
