Easiest way to make a manual boost controller?
Ok, Im cheap. Especially with what Ive heard about making a HompDept boost controller. How do you make them? Also, are there any disadvantages to it, like boost spike or it breaking really easy? Thanks

Re: Easiest way to make a manual boost controller?
For the price of parts at home depot or the like you can buy a MBC off of ebay for about the same price.....
I would have to say the one important thing is making sure the spring inside is the right size/spring tension.... if it is to loose then you won't be able to get the right pressure you need for higher boost abilities... opposite if the spring is to strong.... I'm not sure of what the 3-way brass piece is called but you will need two hose nipples and a bolt for the third hole which threads into the 3-way to adjust the spring tension against the ball bearing... the ball bearing also needs to be the right size.... Off hand I do not know the size of everything... sorry
