Question 1979 f250 351w - not running HELP

I have a 1979 f250 shortbed 4x4 auto trans locking hubs.
I bought another ford truck like year & model with 351w that runs bad trans.
I pulled motor and placed into the 4x4. engine cranksover but does not run now. I tried both computers. Are there any shortcuts / bypasses i could do. Any words of advise. This is my first ford truck as far as swapping engines. I never had this problem with a chevy.

Cool

Found the problems.

1) Some how during engine swap one of the wires to the ignition coil was damaged. Spliced the connection.

Next was running intermittant, then dying.

2) Checked timing - ok, Checked spark on front plugs looked good.

Found out #7 & #8 spark plugs was fouled out. bad smell of gas - must have flooded engine during connection of carb linkages.

Seems to be running good now - taking it to Waynoka, Ok for some sand dune jumping tomorrow.
