Kansas City-area B-Body Owners Get-Together this weekend

This will be our first event as a group. We're getting the Kansas City-area '91 - '96 Caprice, Impala SS, Roadmasters, and Fleetwoods together. Hopefully we can generate some interest and get something going!

There is a car show for all makes and models at the K-Mart at at 601 NE 291 Highway in Lee's Summit on April 23, 2005. We contacted the organizers, and since they aren't sure how big or small the show will be, they would prefer that we show up as a group. Soooo ...

We're going to meet at the Adesa Kansas City Auto Auction in the front parking lot between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. (the actual show is supposed to start at 8:00, but it's so early that we'll probably be OK getting there a few minutes late). The auction is located at Highway 50 and 291 South. You can see it form the highway. It has a big bird as the logo on the building. The actual address if you're MapQuesting is 101 Southwest Oldham Parkway, Lee's Summit, MO 64081.

By 8:30, we'll take our caravan (somewhere between two and 500 cars ) over to the K-Mart where we can find a place to park our group and hang out. There is a $5.00/car charge, which will go to Special Olympics. There will be a DJ, door prizes, and a 50/50 pot.

Don't worry how showey you think your car is--the more we get, the better our club can become! Just clean 'em up, come out, meet some folks, and have fun!
