Hey guys, I'm posting for a co-worker that was told by the dealership that the ECP sensor is leaking. Is this the coolant temp. sensor? Where is it located? They told her they need to replace it because it's leaking? Seems like a little sealant would fix that. Thanks for the help

If the ECT (Engine Coolant Temp.) sensor is leaking, it may be because it is cracked, in which case it will need to be replaced,
if its not cracked then yeah, a little bit of locktite, or teflon tape will keep it from leaking, What Year/Model? If the car isn't under warranty, have them do it themselves, its not hard at all, this also gives the location if you wanna check it out for your self Quote:
