I just recently bought some R1 Racing Carbon fiber pedals.
Basic stuff I'd assume, take off the stock rubber covers drill holes and screw on the after market pedals. They are -not- wrap arounds. However the part that confuses me, is the 12 metal bracket pieces I recieved. (4 per pedal). They have a screw hole on one end, and are about an inch long, they look like the high resolution image below (high res image) .___________ (__________o) Do I put that between the new pedal and the stock medal piece I'll be screwing them to, to help prevent slipage and ensure a snug fit? Anyone even know what I'm talking about? =) |
