Well as i said in offtopic several of my mates have new cars or have recently done some stuff to their cars and they were all feeling a bit cocky. So i brought it upon myself to systematically bring them all back to earth.

1st off, My mate Swindles has a pretty much stock twin turbo Soarer. He was the 1st person in my group of mates to get a turbo car so he thought that he was hot shit. He was busy trying to tell me that because his car was an auto that his car would be jsut as good as my car in a drag. i naturally pointed out that my car is A) lighter and B) more powerful than his and the auto wouldnt help him. After a few more minutes of debating we decided just to drag and end the argument. So we both lined up and went for it. i had a bit of a muffled start so he lept off the line with his auto launching him forward.... And that was about the only time he was in front. by the end of 1st gear i had edged myself slightly in front. by the end of 2nd gear he was about even with my rear bumper. at about 160km/h i shut down cuz the race was well and truley over.

2nd. Another mate Hoops, had just bought himself a black R33 GTST skyline. He has a 3" exhaust and some other BPU upgrades ( i think.) He was stuck behind me at a set of lights. So once the light hit green i gave it gas to get in front of the car to my left so we both had a clear run in front of us. He went for it and so did I. I ANNIHILATED HIM. We did this several times with pretty much the same result each time. Though it must be said that he was shifting a early because he isnt used to having a turbo car yet. nor is he used to driving and racing his car car. That being said i dont think he ever had a chance.

3rd. Iv has a done up 180sx. (SR20Det) I was a bit worried about this race because he has a new turbo, new FMIC and some other stuff done as well. cuz he is a 180sx driver he likes drifting and bought a really fast spooling turbo that doesnt have that much in the top end. We lined up and went for it. He shot off from the start getting about a car length on me at the start of 2nd gear. He stopped pulling away from me at the top of 2nd and i started to real him in. at the top of 3rd gear i had passed him and then we shut down...

3 out of 3 baby!!!

So the 300zx is treating me good although i have scared myself several times... once pulling out of a U-turn and planting my foot..... I fishtailed back and forth across the road and slid half over the curb and half into a driveway... i walked away with just a bit of curb rash on my front hand left wheel where it went over the curb and thats it....

But i must say now im getting a bit more confident with my car, i LOVE the handling on it. it just eats corners like you wouldnt believe. I get next to no lift whe accelerating and hardly and nosedrive when braking hard. this really is a fun car to drive...
