Well, sense you will have more exhaust flow I suppose it would spool it quicker. In my opinion the RB is the engine with the most potential out of the two. RB20DETs are very strong engines and they respond very well to mods. They are a bit more expensive but if you have the money to spend on um they are worth it.

RB20DET engines come out of A31 Nissa Cefiro and R32 GTS-T Nissan Skylines. The Skyline engine and computer is the better combo to get as the engine has higher cut-out points as standard but if your going to tune it or go aftermarket then I no difference...
In Oz RB20DET engines are significantly cheaper than SR20DET engines. The SR20DET seems to be overly popular out here.... I can say that the RB20DEt is nice. With only limited bolt-on mods you can make 250KW at the wheels..... And they sound nicer than a 4.

i thought you can't swap in a RB20 into a 240sx. wouldn't it create understeer since the RB20 engine is bigger than the sr20? or is the RB engine weigh the same like the sr20?

you can order the RB20DET from www.unstable-hybrids.com
they swapped one into an S13 240 SX. If your going to be swapping either of these into the 240 SX then I think the SR might be a less complicated swap, but the RB would be cooler :coolguy:

i heard that all the RB series engine use fuel that doesn't even exist out here in america. i know the octane is above 91. so i'm guessing getting a skyline engine will also cause you to pay a way more extra for the fuel just so the engine won't cause denotation
