2002 neon electrical problems

I have a 2002 neon that has just recently become possesed. the dome light started flashing on and off about 2 days ago, then brought all the dash lights, odometer, and radio display into the mix. This problem is intermitent and only does it so often. I have checked the fuses and found no positive indications of problems. I believe there is a short, but have no idea where to begin looking. Where do all the wires intersect, is it under the fuze box? PLEASE help or i will be forced to call an old priest and a young priest. Thanks to all
