traction control...use it or not?

hey guys,
I have a 99 Z28 with LS1 and an auto trans. Recently i raced a 99 mustang cobra with 4.6L 5spd. On the first run i got a good start and beat him by about 6 carlengths. On second run i was spinning up to about 55mph but still beat him by about 2 carlengths. Yeah i did win but i was wondering if u guys leave trac control on when your racing. I know it robs alot of power off the start. Just wanted to hear what you guys think cuz im always looking to put another stang in my rearview.

Hhhmmmm, now you got me curious, now I will jsut have to go and find out for myself, time it from 0-40 w. and w/o traction control. Hoowever I live in seattle and when it rains I can say that traction control has prevented possible problems from becoming serious problems
