traction control...use it or not?
hey guys,
I have a 99 Z28 with LS1 and an auto trans. Recently i raced a 99 mustang cobra with 4.6L 5spd. On the first run i got a good start and beat him by about 6 carlengths. On second run i was spinning up to about 55mph but still beat him by about 2 carlengths. Yeah i did win but i was wondering if u guys leave trac control on when your racing. I know it robs alot of power off the start. Just wanted to hear what you guys think cuz im always looking to put another stang in my rearview. |

Re: traction control...use it or not?
Hhhmmmm, now you got me curious, now I will jsut have to go and find out for myself, time it from 0-40 w. and w/o traction control. Hoowever I live in seattle and when it rains I can say that traction control has prevented possible problems from becoming serious problems
