Air Conditioner
My truck runs fine until I turn on the AC then it start chuging and losin horsepower. I did a full tune up and recharged the air. any one have any ideas what might cause this.

He has a 2000, can't time those...Loss of power is normal when AC is on, if it nearly stops the truck, have your compressor bearing looked at.

Is the compressor running when the heater is on?

Hi
Iwas just reading about your problem and I have the same problem with my 2000 S-10 and I am thinging that it is the battery is weak and that it needs to be replaced did you evry find out what was the problem with yours if so i wounld like to know what it was. Thanks
