Talking integra ls vs f-150 v8

so last week i was driving home from school and a f-150 rolls up next to me. I look over and it say triton v-8. this is outside the city so let me describe the truck. it was lowered with big ass wheels, i mean there was serious BLING factor, windows tinted out. So he revs his engine and i rev back. i figure WTF never raced a f-150. Light turns green off the line for about 1/2 a car length he takes me. As i chirp 2nd im next to his front wheel and as i chirp 3rd i just start to walk from him. as i pass him i wave and beep my horn. i see in my mirror he gives me the finger. All i can do is laugh. that was fun. guess he never raced a honda

What mods does your ls have? You two probably are just as slow stock. I should know because I have seen a single cab short bed f-150 absolutely burry a integra ls w/ exhaust.

I'm not completely calling bullshit. But your mod list seems kind of odd to me. What the hell are "dual" valve springs? And why do you even have upgraded valvetrain when you're still on your stock cams? How is your Throttle Body 74mm and 69mm at the same time?

Dual valve spring allows the engine to rev higher with a more aggressive cams. And the 74/69mm throttle body is tappered. meaning it starts at 74mm and ends at 69mm in the intake manifold. this allows the air to gain velocity. Jackson racing superchargers work best with stock cams. that is why i kept those. I planned on going NA but i changed my mind. DUAL Valve springs little spring inside of a bigger spring. Check it out

Re: integra ls vs f-150 v8

you should have spanked him with no problem.
but if it had spinners it would have beaten you
Spinners = 50 HP

I beat a harly davidson truck once. this is no BS. he must have been a very bad driver because i only have a little 98 civic ex (d16Y8).
this brings me to my main point... people should buy trucks to actually use them for what they were intened of
ex...
pull and tow shit.

LOL No doubt. what really makes me mad is the dorks in s-10s that try and race. That really pisses me off. trucks make me mad in general

then people who buy economy cars shouldnt race; they should just use it to get from point A to point B.

btw, look for vids of a blue chevy silverado called Parish. that truck can beat most other cars; runs 10 seconds on the quarter on street tires and so far the only car it really lost to is a AWD turbo eclipse.

also, for those that didnt know, Honda uses dual valvesprings from the factory in some motors(ei: Type-Rs).

Well think of it this way.. those trucks probably hate you just as much for racing a family economy car.

Its a truck, and unless you're driving either a lightning or a SRT-10, then its slow. Its kinda like giving someone props for beating a power wheels car.

Re: integra ls vs f-150 v8

I live in Omaha Ne that's where Parish lives. I've seen his truck race and believe me everything that's been said about it is true. It is a bad ass truck and one thing is that it looks totally stock. The only way to tell it's got anything done to it is the fact when you hear the blowoff valves and you realize you are dealing with one bad ass mofo. I saw a video of him outright murder a 03 Cobra it made the thing look like it was a metro. From what I hear the truck is running somewhere between 550-600 to the wheels. The thing is he's an electrician so I think he's done most of the work himself. HooHa for fast trucks.
