Angry Stupid BullShit technicalities!!!!

Well I finally had time to book an apoitment with the bank in regards to a loan I want. Everything works out great. I get the desired amount of 10 000$ so I can finally get my car.

Then the bitch mutters it...co-signer. I ask why she needs one. Plain and simple it's because of my age. So what if I have been working in the same place for over a year and a half making more then enough to get that loan. Unfortunate for me I can't get that loan without a co-signer. I go to my parents for that and what do I get? You've been able to manage for yourself since you were 12, why come to us now?

WHAAAAAAAAT!?!?!

So now I asked my brother to see if he can co-sign it for me. But fuck I only get 2 weeks off until my summer term and I won't be able to book any more time off to actually get the car.

God I'm so pissed right now......hbdafkad kdfas kdfbb la lbsdbl !!!!!!11

Re: Stupid BullShit technicalities!!!!

Good news. Got a friend who works for the bank I'm with. Turns out I was pre-aprooved for a credit card with 9 500$, interest rate of 8.15% and only a 25$ annual fee. I'm just going to go with this instead.

Re: Stupid BullShit technicalities!!!!

Good ol Will. Good thing he works at the bank.

I got a somewhat (but not really) related story. When I was applying for a car loan, I asked repeatedly if it was possible to get a personal loan to buy a car, and they were like.. "Well it depends on how old the car is, and blah blah blah" and diverting my question to answers about a CAR loan. I ened up not even trying to finance with them because they werent answering my questions, and then a month later I get a letter from them saying that they are sorry to inform me they had to decline my credit request. Dumb asses. I didnt even try to get their credit since they were so difficult.

Re: Stupid BullShit technicalities!!!!

LOL, yea...I could have went with a student loan which requires no co-signer, but my limit would be a sorry 1500$. Now I wait 7-10 buisness days for the card, then it's off to vuy me a car.

Re: Stupid BullShit technicalities!!!!

sorry and glad things got worked out for you.

I had a similar situation when I bought my first truck. Finance company wanted a co-signer ... but I tripled my "down payment" to eliminate the co-signer.

Oh yeah ...

... I had to !!!!

Re: Stupid BullShit technicalities!!!!

Sounds usual Raz, you probably don't have enough credit history for the bank to be happy about it. Just be sure to make regular payments on the credit card for a couple years (on time or early, or you're screwing yourself!) and you won't have that problem again.

Re: Stupid BullShit technicalities!!!!

Just keep in mind that if you use the full $9500 on the car that will put you paying about $775 a month just in interest, thats not including paying off the balance on the card. If you could wait another year and save that 775 a month then you would have $9300 cash to put on a car, no money going down the drain for interest or fees.

Re: Stupid BullShit technicalities!!!!

dude, check your math. It's $775 interest per year, so about $64 a month. With that credit card the payment will be in the $300 range per month.

Re: Stupid BullShit technicalities!!!!

my GOD.... you paid 8 a MONTH?! rofl... dawg, you got SUCKERED. Wait... I better check my intrest rates...

That's what I'm doing. I'm trying to get a business loan, which are almost impossible. Which is bullshit. So then if I can't get that, I gotta get a PERSONAL loan to USE for my business, then if I can't get ENOUGH, i gotta get a credit card, like you. and if i can't get ANY, I gotta get credit card with a higher limit, which is a pain in the ASS. *Sigh* why WOULDNT a company wanna throw tons of money at you and hope you pay it back!?

Re: Stupid BullShit technicalities!!!!

I already have a student credit card, been about a year now. Made all payments on time everytime. The car itself is going for 8 000, 7 500 if I polish up on my negotioating skills. So that's giving me an extra 1 500-2 000$ to spend on the car for whatever I choose.
