Ford over the eclipse.
Eclipse over the tib. Personally im a ford fan so ford all the way. The tibby doesn't have the aftermarket as the eclipse and just doesn't compete performance wise.

I'd go with the Focus SVT. The Eclipse and Tiburon are both cheaply made, and the handling suffers due to being nose-heavy from having those V6's in there. I don't really care how much power they can make, since handling is my main priority. If you care about straight-line performance mostly, then go with one of the other two.

well, the eclipse isn't an import either, its made in Illinois and is only sold in North America

SVT will edge a Tiburon in the straight line and spank both badly on the track. Plus you can get one (if you can still find them) for 16k. Just check and see what Road and Track thinks about SVT foci...http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....&page_number=5
