Would You Race?

Well the other night I was on my way home with my two baby nieces from the store when all of a sudden a guy and his girl in a 2005 Pontiac GTO drives along side me. It's not everyday I see a GTO in my neighborhood and I've always wanted to race one. Even though I'd lose I just wanted to see one run. Well the guy revs and honks trying to get my attention to race. But I just pointed at my nieces and shook my head no. Cause personally I wouldn't risk someone else's life because of racing, especially my nieces. Even if it was a real quick race, i didnt want to chance it cause anything could happen.
Well we then met at a light and this guy must think he's got something to prove cause he does a burn out next to me and talks shit. He rolls down his windows and says that I'm a scared and that I'm a bitch cause I dont want to race and how he'd whoop my ass, and that its a good thing that i dont race. At this point I wanted to get out of the car and beat his ass and I saw that his girl felt the same way cause she was freaked out about what he was doing. The light finally turned green, he took off, and that was it. I guess this thread was pointless and I just needed to relieve some agression but damn! ignorant people these days! what would you have done?

you did the right thing, by not racing with ur nieces in the car, who knows maybe when u dont have them in ur car you could catch him on the road and race him then, i wouldnt of raced him if i had any of my nephews or nieces in my car, if anything happened i would rather it happen to just me not anyone else

Another sad thing was that he was risking his girlfriends life too and she was already telling his ass not to race. But I'd have to say in between his burnouts and shit talking I got a real good look of his girl and yeah it was lookin real good. It's too bad shes with a crazy asshole like him...damn a nice piece of ass, what a terrible thing to waste.

I think it was a good call. I race with my friend in the car only because he enjoys it and is over 18. But if I have his sister and her friends in the car...as it happens sometimes...I would probably pass it up and find him later and settle it. Or would try to find him at least...

where you from, i wanna find this guy at a light, rip a brake stance right along side of him, mash the clutch down, throw a fireball out my back exhaust pipes, switch gears and roast my tires in second for a lil longer, then ask this punk to race.

good call,i hate when i see people racing with kids in the car. the olny person i would race in the car is my partner.thats because we both grew up together. we are like a rally team im the driver hes the navigator.

what would i have done? ...pointed a gun at him...shuts people up real quick. But i don't own a gun for that reason...i know i'd be so tempted to use it all the time lol. what an asshole, glad you didn't race him with kids in the car.
