VentVisors/Shades for 2005 TB LS (non ext)

I have a 2005 4dr TB LS (non ext) and cannot locate the correct VentVisors/Shades.

What I found on the web and purchased (VentVisor part number 94733 4pc) - are made for a 2002-2005 TB NON-EXT but they do not fit.

The front and back window shades are about 1 to 2 inches too long.

Anyone have any luck locating the correct fit for a 2005 4dr TB LS?

The only other version of vent guards out there are made for the same TB model, but that model has a 3rd row of seats, Mine does not...

Any help would be appreciated - thx.

Are you looking for the in-channel ones? or the tape on outside mounts?

I recommend the weathertech in-channel dark tint ones.

You can find them for about $80 online

Oh - I have used the TAPED ones on my 02 Blazer, but don't mind trying a new set (IN CHANNEL).

Now - I need to make sure I get the right part number - because I know that Auto Zone carries the TAPE brand #94733 - and from what I first say, they did not fit...but I guess they do.

Do you happen to have a part number for the IN CHANNEL models?

Also - I am so impressed how helpful everyone is here

man, I wish I had seen your post before you ordered those 2nd day. Weather tech is in Downers Grove, off of Butterfield Road. I always drive over there to get mine when I get a new vehicle.

just read the instructions as to "pulling the weather stripping" There is a small locking clip which goes behind this to prevent the rear two doors from flying off!

I have been debating on buying this. What is the purpose, do they work? Let me know.

Thanks

I had a different brand on my 2002 Blazer and loved them. What they do - you can keep your windows rolled down about 2 to 3 more inches (if not more) while you drive in the rain - the guards prevent any rain from coming into your truck.

Also - during the hot Chicago Summer, you have to leave your windows cracked in order to get some air into your vehicle, but - you can never tell when its going to STORM, this allows you to leave your windows cracked and not worry about running from the office to "roll your windows up".

I just like to keep my windows cracked and let fresh air in all the time - will let you know how the install went and how they look

I have used them on all my vehicles, too. I like having some fresh air when it rains, snow, etc. As slaterza pointed out, it is nice when it is hot to crack the windows and the vehicle will not be as hot. I've been using these since the early nineties in one form or another. I prefer the in channel type as opposed to the stick on as the stick on can loosen in very cold (Chicago and destinations north) winters.
