electrical problem

ok, i was stupid!!! I was checking the bolt on my alternator and i accidently made contact with the wire on the alternator and it shot out sparks. Now it wont start or even click and no lights on the dash. Is it a wire from my alternator to my starter thats fried or what did i do?

thanx

Re: electrical problem

You probably blew the 80 amp fuse. It is on the main fuse panel in the engine compartment, right side. Check that and report back your findings,
