My daughter backed up and caught her passenger mirror on a pole. The mirror unit itself isn't broken, or even scratched, but it seems to be just hanging on by ?- the cable/line that auto adjusts it from driver side? Anyway, I can't see how it attaches or clips in place. Do I need to buy a whole new mirror ( over 200.00-dealer quote ). My dealer said yes, but I don't have a lot of trust in my local dealer. Can anyone verify?
Thanks, Lynne |

Re: Repair advice: mirror dangling 2004 corolla le
Get a quote from a body shop. They are much cheaper.

Re: Repair advice: mirror dangling 2004 corolla le
well what the H-E-double-hockey-sticks. i had a whole thing typed out then it deleted it. ebay is a heck of a lot cheaper and the fix isnt too hard. 3 bolts and $20 later on my nissan and i had a good working mirror. front of the window there should be a cover. see if you can get it off. then again, i had a manual, with cables hanging in the open. urs seems electronic so i dont know about the cables.
