Post 93 chevy cavalier right side brake problem

I have installed new front brakes....rotors, calibers and brake pads on both sides in the front, the right side is locking to the rotor, but the left side is problem free...The car has an ABS system, what could the problem be? how can this be fixed?
Thanks!

Sounds like your piston is malfunctioning. Was there what looks to be wet dirt around the well seal anywhere?

Take it down a straight road at a good speed and nail your brake. If your ABS enguages, its working. Did you lube your slider really really good?

I have already done that and the brakes locked to the rotor and the caliber seal on the piston was damaged I returned it for another one reinstalled and the same thing happened..... it is locking to the rotor.

93 chevy cavalier right side brake problem

bleed the one that is locking up on you untill you have brand new fluid in it.

did you lube the slider(the metel peice inside where you bolt it to the knukle) with DI-Electric grease?? so it doesn't destroy the rubber and so it slides freely.

Oh yeah, I think he is reffering to the rubber flexible brake line.. I dunno why you would replace it because fluid is getting to the calipers. or else it wouldnt lock up

Oh shit... man how'd I miss that....

If you go down the road and LOCK it up and one wheel locks up complety and the other ones don't.

then it is your wheel sensor. its not sensing that the wheel is locking up and not applying ABS.

Re: 93 chevy cavalier right side brake problem

If your ABS is activated you can hear and feel it in your pedal. Try bleeding the caliper and see if you are getting a strong stream of fluid out of it. Also try removing the flex hose and see if you can blow through it. I'm almost positive the flexible brake hose is your problem. The flex hose is less than 15 bucks and I have seen this problem many times, esp. when the car is as old as yours. The hose will partially collapse on the inside restricting the fluid flow causing the caliper to stick.

Hey, all I can say is thanks alot guys! I will try all things mentioned that can be the cause...I personally am going with the idea that the wheel sensor is the the problem..does anybody know where to find the wheel sensor? I will try the other option of bleeding the brakes again and seeing is there is a problem with the flexible brake hose!
Thanks
