97 Eplorer - press brakes and dash lights come on

If I take the keys out of the ignition and press the brake pedal, the dash light comes on as well as the front turn signal lights. When the truck is running and you press the brakes, the same thing happems as well (I happened to be in front of the truck and saw it happening.).

Any ideas?
