climate control lighting

Hey guys, im brand new to this site and have just got a simple question for my friend's olds intrigue. Both the ac light and the defroster light on the climate control have burned out. I was just wondering if, once ive taken that whole center console and trim off to to it, does the climate control face easily come off so that I can replace the bulbs, or is there a whole procedure for that. thanks.

Re: climate control lighting

well.....i really wouldn't bother, i mean rear defrost goes off by itself so its not really a problem if it goes on accidentally, it can sense if there is nothing to melt on the window and it should shut off, as for ac that could just be annoying, by the way do you have the climate control system with the temperature and the passenger controls or just the standard

Its the one with the temperature display and the individual controls. Also now that I think of it, if anyone knows how to fix the external thermometer it would be greatly appreciated. It constantly reads out 54 degrees.
