how hard is it to change an automatic to a manual?( from the scale 1-10) would it take some time or should i pay a mancantic to put it in for me? what is cheaper?

ok 1-10 is kind of weird i would say a 5 where a stock SR swap would be like a 7.

WHat you do is go to a garage, ask them for an estimate, check the labor hours, double them for you and there you go.

yeah the hardest part would be putting in the clutch pedal and master cylinder, which would probably require custom brackets(i doubt you could pull the stock one off a manual car, but hey, maybe you could) and definitely require drilling


if im not mistaken, the shifter should bolt in to the same hole that the auto shifter is in, and everything else should just line up nicely. i could be wrong(since i never had to do one) but look and measure before you try it
