Safe Rev Limit for a 6G72 with Quad Heads?

I've a '99 Mitsubishi Challenger(Montero Sport)with the 6G72 DOHC. Ram Pod induction, Tuned Mandrel Bent Extractors into 2.5" Stainless Steel with Turbo Hi-Flow Muffler. Micro-Tech ECU & now looking at the Quad Heads from the 3000GT.
Q. What is the safe rev limit of the 6G72 as setting up the computer the torque curve was not flattening out at 7,000rpm. Is 8,000rpm O.K?
Regards,
The Adelaide Gardener

Re: Safe Rev Limit for a 6G72 with Quad Heads?

there is a guy on 3si.org that has designed a new ECU and remapped it to like 8300 rpm or something. You should check that site out for that.

Re: Safe Rev Limit for a 6G72 with Quad Heads?

Im pretty sure this guy is running a stand alone, or has someway of setting his rev limiter.

I ran 8000 just fine, many people run 8300 on stock valve springs and retainers.
