Finished: VW new Beetle - 1:24 Tamiya

Here's my latest built, from Tamiya, 1:24 scale, straight out of box except for some flocking on the interior.

Paint is from ICI, some kind of lime-greenish, slightly fluo. I think it looks nice for a Beetle.

It still needs a bit of cleaning here and there, and some paint retouching on the chassis, but... here are the pics... hope you like it !!

I wasn't satisfied with the underside, I even weathered it a bit more.

I airbrushed a black-grey base, and the began to shoot mist coats of diferent shades of greys and buff.

Here's how it looks now. A bit more "plain" but more real, under my point of view...

Like your chassie paint treatment. This is actually how cars look like after a few months on the road.. Good working!

The Beetle was actually based on the Golf IRL i think.
